Accessibility policy

We are committed to the accessibility of the DMV website and DMV activities, programs and services for all persons.  The specific intention of the DMV is to make sure that the website, activities, programs and services are accessible to persons with disabilities.

Report an issue related to the Americans with Disabilities Act

In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ("ADA"), the New York State DMV will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities. 

The New York State DMV will make all reasonable accommodations or modifications to policies and programs to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy all of its programs, services, and activities.
