Any voter registration completed through this DMV site must be done by 8 PM on 6/13 to be effective for this year’s primaries. Voters may still use the Board of Elections’ Online Voter Registration Portal  to register until 11:59 PM on 6/13.

At a DMV Office

When you visit a DMV office, you can pay using

  • cash
  • credit cards, prepaid cards and debit cards that do not require a PIN, such as American Express, Discover Card/Novus, MasterCard, and VISA
  • mobile payment services, including Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay
  • a personal check or money order payable to "Commissioner of Motor Vehicles"

You can split your payment between cash and check if you need. Tap-to-pay payment methods are enabled for MasterCard, VISA, American Express, Discover and Diners Club Card with MasterCard logo.

By Mail

To pay by mail, send a personal check or money order payable to "Commissioner of Motor Vehicles". Make you include the transaction application with your payment. 

For some transactions, you must pay by certified check. Do not send cash by mail.

Online

To pay online, you can use a credit card or debit card that does not require a PIN. This includes American Express, Discover Card/Novus, MasterCard and VISA.
