Media Advisory: NYS DMV, Mohawk Hudson Humane Society Partner To Promote Adopting Shelter Pets, Our Best Friends License Plate

Albany, NY – DMV and the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society will join together to promote National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day (April 30) and the Our Best Friends license plate that supports the Animal Population Control Fund. This year marks 30 years since DMV has offered a license plate to show appreciation for pets.
