MEDIA ADVISORY: GTSC, DMV ANNOUNCE LATEST CLASS OF NEW YORK’S DRUG RECOGNITION EXPERTS

Goshen, NY - The Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee (GTSC) and the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will host a graduation ceremony for law enforcement officers who have completed extensive training and are now nationally-certified Drug Recognition Experts (DREs). Additional DREs are welcome as data shows an increase in fatal and personal-injury crashes involving drug-impaired drivers from 2013 to 2017.
