MEDIA ADVISORY: XFINITY SERIES DRIVER TEAMS UP WITH NEW YORK STATE FOR MEET-AND-GREET WITH FANS TO ENHANCE SEAT BELT USE
On Wednesday, August 2, the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee (GTSC) and local traffic safety partners will sponsor a meet and greet with fans featuring Xfinity driver Ross Chastain and his No. 4 Xfinity Series racecar. The event will kick off an annual campaign that raises awareness about the importance of wearing seat belts. Chastain’s GTSC-sponsored car includes the state’s “Protect Your Melon” logo and theme. The event will be held at Watkins Glen State Park, ahead of the annual I Love New York 355 at The Glen.
