MEDIA ADVISORY: GTSC MARKS NATIONAL TEEN DRIVER SAFETY WEEK AT UNION-ENDICOTT HIGH SCHOOL
Endicott, NY – As part of National Teen Driver Safety Week, the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee (GTSC) and the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will engage students about safe driving through interactive activities at Union-Endicott High School. Students will participate in the Battle of the Belts seat belt competition and use the Seat Belt Convincer, which simulates the force of a low-speed collision. Motor vehicle crashes are a leading cause of death for teens in the United States.
