MEDIA ADVISORY: NEW YORK STATE DECLARES DECEMBER STOP-DWI
AWARENESS MONTH AND ANNOUNCES HOLIDAY IMPAIRED DRIVING ENFORCEMENT CAMPAIGN
Albany, NY – Officials from the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee (GTSC) and Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will be joined by state and local law enforcement and traffic safety partners to mark December as STOP-DWI Awareness Month and highlight measures preventing impaired driving throughout the year. This event will also kickoff the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” holiday season impaired driving enforcement campaign.
