MEDIA ADVISORY: NEW YORK STATE ANNOUNCES HOLIDAY SEASON IMPAIRED DRIVING ENFORCEMENT CAMPAIGN
Syracuse, NY- Officials from the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee (GTSC) [1] and Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) [2] will be joined by state and local law enforcement, the New York State Office of Cannabis Management and a victim advocate to kick off the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” holiday season impaired driving enforcement campaign. After the event, officials will have available specialized goggles that demonstrate the effects of drug and alcohol impairment.
