• a personal check or a money order payable to "Commissioner of Motor Vehicles"

You can split your payment between cash and check if you need. 

DMV also now accepts mobile payment services in our offices. Accepted mobile payment services include:

By mail

You can send us

• a personal check or a money order payable to "Commissioner of Motor Vehicles"

Make sure you also include the transaction application. 

For some transactions, you are instructed to pay by certified check. Do not send us cash by mail.
