Sample Registration Documents for Manufactured Home Title Transactions

New York does not register Manufactured Homes (MFH). MFH VINs (serial numbers) vary in length and may be found on the Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MCO) or previous title document.

MFH VINs will also appear on the Data Plate affixed inside the home. You can find the data plate in a kitchen cabinet, a water heater closet, an electrical panel, or a bedroom closet.
