Traffic Violations Bureau (TVB) Locations

The DMV only processes New York City Traffic Tickets

All non-criminal traffic violation tickets issued in the 5 boroughs of New York City (Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island) are adjudicated by the Department of Motor Vehicles Traffic Violations Bureau (TVB).

To schedule a TVB appointment for a cash payment, apply for a payment plan or another transaction, please use the New York State DMV Online Reservation system.

Traffic tickets that are issued outside of New York City are processed in the criminal or traffic court of the city, county, town, or village where the alleged offense took place. For more information about tickets issued outside New York City, contact the local court directly.
