Certified Abstract

My Driving Record - Certified Abstract
Certified Abstract

Certification

There is no difference between a driving record abstract you order through MyDMV and one you get by mail or at a DMV office. The abstract provided through this application is certified. It includes a certification statement and the signature of the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, and the same security watermark as a driving record abstract ordered by any other method. It is just as official.

What Appears on Your Abstract

Your driving record abstract includes the records on file as of the date and time you ordered the abstract. Any activity or changes after the time the abstract is ordered will not appear on the abstract. To get an updated abstract, you must submit a new order and pay an additional fee.

See information about what is included on your driving record and a sample Abstract of Driving Record (DS-242.1) form which shows an example abstract and explains what appears on the abstract.
