Order, Download, Print, and Save a Driving Record Abstract
When you submit payment to process your order, a page with a "Download" button will be displayed. The Download button opens your abstract in a new browser window in PDF format. Use the Print and Save buttons in the new window.
You must have Adobe® Acrobat® Reader version 7.0 or later to download your abstract. You can download Acrobat® Reader for free from the Adobe Web site at https://www.adobe.com/.
Print your abstract on 8.5" x 11" plain white paper. Do not print on colored paper.
"Unable to download" Message
When I try to download my abstract, I get a message that says 'Unable to download index.cfm from my.dmv.ny.gov.'
Some customers have experienced problems downloading their driving record abstracts (in PDF format) from our website. Make sure your operating system and browser have all recent updates.
If you are using Windows with Internet Explorer, or an Android OS and cannot download your document, try signing in to MyDMV and downloading the document using a different internet browser (for example Chrome, Firefox, or Safari).
