Terminate Reminders Account
When you select Terminate Reminders Account, you will no longer receive renewal and inspection reminders by email for any vehicle registered to you. You will receive registration renewal reminders by regular mail. You will not receive inspection reminders from DMV.
When you close your Reminders Account, it does not affect the status of the registrations or the inspections.
Remove Selected Registration
When you select to remove a registration from Paperless Reminders, you will no longer receive renewal and inspection reminders by email for that registration. You will receive registration renewal reminders by regular mail. You will not receive inspection reminders from the DMV.
Removal of a registration from Paperless Reminders does not affect the status of the registration or inspection.
Expired Inspection
For most registrations, you cannot renew the registration if the required annual inspection has expired. If your inspection is expired and you select the "Renew" link on the Manage Your Reminders page, you may receive a message that you cannot renew until your vehicle passes an inspection.
The DMV website has a tool to locate inspection stations in your county or ZIP Code and general information about safety and emissions inspection requirements.
